2022-2023 Lee Johns Memorial Scholarship Application

Eligibility Guidelines
Scholarship applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Be a 2022 graduating high school senior or continuing education student
• Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above
• Be a member in good standing at Lowland Credit Union – parents membership does not apply
• Plan to enroll or be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two or four-year college or university

Applicant must complete an essay on one of the following topics relating to the Credit Union philosophy of “People Helping People”
• Describe how this philosophy has affected your life.
• Describe how the Credit Union can help you or your family to achieve your educational and financial goals.
• Explain the importance of good financial planning.

The following items must be included with the completed application
• Two letters of recommendation
• Current transcript of grades
• Listing of community service
• Essay

Applications must be received by 5:00pm Friday, April 15, 2022.
