Lowland Credit Union Membership
Lowland Credit Union has a Community Charter, which allows membership to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school, businesses, and other entities located in Hamblen, Jefferson, Cocke, or Grainger Counties or Greeneville City, Tennessee.
Lowland Credit Union offers a full range of financial products and it is the only locally-owned credit union in the area. LCU has served the area for more than 60 years.
To join, simply stop by your closest LCU branch. Membership requires a $5 deposit into a savings account. When you open an account we will ask for your name, physical address, date of birth, taxpayer identification number and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your unexpired photo ID such as a driver’s license, passport or military ID. If you have questions about the documentation needed, please feel free to call us at 423-581.8345.
Who can join Lowland Credit Union?
Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school, businesses, and other legal entities located in Hamblen, Jefferson, Cocke, Grainger counties, or Greeneville, Tennessee is eligible to open an account at Lowland Credit Union. LCU is the only credit union in the area that is governed by a local Board of Directors, and has been consistently operating for more than 60 years.
